When I was a kid (and you thought electricity was not invented then) it was
common practice to use two rods with insulated handles to drive
nightcrawlers to the surface for fishing worms. Each rod had one leg of a
110 circuit . Worked great, but you did not want to pull too hard on a worm
or you got it too! Sort of a 1950's tasar!
