[Killietalk] MAKA meeting July 27th 2005

The Metropolitan Area Killifish Association (MAKA) will have  a Wednesday 
July 27th, 2005 meeting. The program will be a Round Robin  discussion of "I 
Don't Believe I Did THAT!" A group discussion of the blunders  and mistakes we all 
began with. Please join us for a wonderful  evening.
A Fish, Plants and Goods will be held. There will be  NO Bowl Show this 
month. Everyone is welcome to attend.
As a reminder:  This September 28th, 2005, MAKA will have its' annual GIANT 
AUCTION. MAKA will  have a special lot of killifishes brought in for the 
auction. This will be an  outstanding group that is well sought after. Please plan 
to attend. More  information will be forthcoming.
Meetings are held the 4th Wednesday of each month (Third Wednesday  November 
and December) at the Meadowlands Environment Center in Lyndhurst, New  Jersey. 
Meetings begin promptly at 8:00 PM  - FREE Parking. FREE  refreshments.

DIRECTIONS TO THE MEADOWLANDS  ENVIRONMENT CENTER:
VIA ROUTE 3 FROM NYC AND NJ TURNPIKE:
Take Rt. 3 West  to Route 17 South (Lyndhurst Exit). Follow the ramp around 
to the traffic light  (Quality Inn will be on your left). Make a left onto 
Polito Avenue. Continue to  the end of Polito Avenue. At the STOP sign make a left 
onto Valley Brook Avenue.  Follow this road to the end (approx. 1 1â2 miles). 
Cross the railroad tracks  (keep to the left). Meadowlands Environment Center 
is the first building on the  left after the tracks.
VIA ROUTE 3 FROM GARDEN STATE PARKWAY:
Take Rt. 3  East to the 2nd Rt. 17 South Exit (the sign will read: Rt. 17 
South/Lyndhurst -  Service Road). At the end of the exit ramp there will be a 
traffic light, and  the Quality Inn will be directly across the street to your 
left. Go straight  through the intersection onto Polito Avenue. Continue to the 
end of Polito  Avenue. At the STOP sign make a left onto Valley Brook Avenue. 
Follow this road  to the end (approx. 1 1â2 miles). Cross the railroad tracks 
(keep to the left).  Meadowlands Environment Center is the first building on 
the left after the  tracks.
