Re: [Killietalk] Suggestion for dealing with 'salt blockage' of bbshatchery airlines
If you can find some of the opaque white silicon tubing used in the medical
lab industry it remains flexible for many years. The green stuff does
harden. I ran into a fellow selling "offsize" medical tubing that was scrap
as they use it for metering and offsize is taboo. I got a couple of
hundred feet at a fish auction for about $10 I think. It is a little bit
smaller than standard airline tubing but is not too difficult to stretch
over a valve or hard line. I only need to "squeeze" the bottom inch in my BS
jar about once a week if that often, and it has never clogged. If anyone
wants a foot , just send me a self addressed stamped envelope and I'll cut
you a chunk.
