[Killietalk] re: crooked backed lineatus

I know what you're talking about on the lineatus but be sure their backs are permanantly crooked and they're not just hanging out that way. I've noticed my lineatus fry will appear to have a crooked back (side to side, not up and down) when looking from above and then swim off perfectly straight and hold themselves straight. I have had a couple that would stay crooked and I culled those. I think your problem is probably the same as the ones I have, store-bought, farm-bred stock. I have some wild colored lineatus I picked up but I'm either sexing them wrong or they just refuse to spawn. I'll try them again later this year and see if I have better luck. KYle
