[Killietalk] Feeding frozen bloodworms

  Hi Fellow Killinuts,

I have started using Hikari brand frozen
bloodworms. They are smaller in size and
are not stiff after beinng thawed.
I blend BBS in with the bloodworms worms
and feed this mixture to all of my tanks.

As a result, I have loads of fry in many
tanks where either there were none or very
few before I started to feed this mixture.

I theorize that the bloodworms provide the
high protein and bulk that the parents need
and the BBS feeds any fry that appear in
the tank without competing with the adults
   for a food source.

At any rate I switched to this combo food
about two months ago. (I did not feed
Bloodworms to any extent before this time.)
Since then I have had bunches of fry appear
in tanks that did not produce any before, inc.
   species such as Rhexipanchax schioetzi.

               Regards,

                 Monty Lehmann
