Re: [Killietalk] separating white worms from soil

Instead of white bread, try whole wheat bread(a brand that has finely ground wheat). You will find out that white bread has none of the really good nutrition that we all need. The worm are just like us! I know that white bread and processed cane sugar a responsible for many of the health problems we are seeing today. All please try this little experiment and you will stop wasting your money on white bread. Joe Scanlan and in case you forgot MD.

When your cultures are going good they will eat at least a slice of cheap
day old wonder bread dipped in Yeast water every day. Just lay the bread on
top of the culture and put a glass cover over the bread. the worms will be
in a huge clump where the bread was the next day.

Feed dried cat food, the while worms will collect in huge clumps that can be
easily picked up. Keep them covered though.

I recived some white worms and would love to feed them to my fish but I
can't seem to separate the worms from the soil.I have tried placeing a
funnel over a cup and then placeing a light over the funnel. I left them
overnight like this and they did move away from the light but would not drop
down into the cup. are there any other suggestions to get these treats to my
fish?
