Yes, that is the best explanation that I can come up with as well. However,
it is still somewhat of an inconsistent explanation because, as I said, the
vast majority of Notho habitats are strongly turbid anyway, although not as
bright white.

the fish home, within two weeks or less in the aquarium they had regained
full and brilliant color."
