[Killietalk] RE: Aphanius fasciatus

The inquiry was probably triggered by a post on Killietrader by a guy from or
connected to Libya.  Aph. fasciatus habitats in the costal Mediterranean of
Europe are considered threatened and the EU lists the fish as protected and
traffic in the fish is restricted.  On the other hand, Libya is seemingly
"blacklisted" and a non-allowed source for the fish I think due to not being
able to get valid paperwork.  The Libyan was trolling for European interest
but would not send fish to the US.
