Of course you have a right to see it and that is why the AKA SENDS it to you
or Barry has it available to you for YOUR access.  However the courts have
ruled that even public information lists cannot be published for EVERYONE
(people not on the list) to see in a "public fashion".  A lady that had all
good intentions in the world, several years ago, made and sent out a list of
the kids addresses and phone numbers to all the C.A.T. kids in our C.A.T.
program at school so that kids without rides to school . . . (80% of our
kids are bussed, remember they apply to get into C.A.T. and don't live in
our zone) . . . could meet new kids and get rides and call kids about
homewprk and one of the fathers of the kids went totally ballistic and
threatened a law suit and the suit was legitimate and went far enough that
the superintendent of schools sent a memo that such list shall never be
"sent in a public fashion" . . . you and I can go in a look up all we want
and write as many down as we wish but no one sends or gives a "common
knowledge list" in a public fashion of ANY form.  Our school and many places
now when you fill out a "join" form allow you to check if you want anything
public . . . even in public lists.

 

It all sounds silly and stupid but in these days of spasm and identity fraud
(of which I was hit for $20,000 and it was a 3 year struggle to overcome it
and prove I wasn't involved as fraud) I understand why people don't want the
lists to be sent in a "public manner".
