Tow points that I should have mentioned:

One, we all owe Dennis Heltzel a vote of thanks for the effort he has put into programming the membership module.

Second, and to clarify, non-AKA registered users on the site can also search the roster db, but can only get a subset of data. this is valuable for allowing them to find and contact AKa members in their area. It is, in other words, a form of outreach that should help to attract new members.
