RE: [Killietalk] AKA FUTURE
Is there
a solution to this, or even more important, is there a problem that needs to
be addressed? I don't think so, it is what it is.

It is a problem for the hobby in general.
More people should follow Mike Jacobs and his classroom of kids to in store
new interest in our great hobby. Each one of us should contact a Biology or
science teacher in our area and offer them fish.
I also think a DVD should be made by the AKA as an educational program to be
distributed to any group that may have an interest.
Stop being so greedy spread the information around, each of us needs to
notice this and do something!

Bill,
I think the missing factor is that the DKG has more members within a 300
mile radius than any location in the USA. That is not necessarily a bad
thing
for us, just different. The consequence is that none of our regional shows,
nor even our national convention draws 500 or more competition entries. Is
there
a solution to this, or even more important, is there a problem that needs to
be addressed? I don't think so, it is what it is.
