Re: [Killietalk] Needed Info on F. arnoldi
Hi Tom,
Where'd you get arnoldi back in the 70's? There seems to have been a few around in the 70's and 80's but never enough to be established. Do you remember any of the history?

I will add my experiences with arnaldi as well. I kept them sometime in the
70's but every time I had them they would only last for 3-4-5 generations
and then no more eggs. I have kept the Ughelli population for the last
couple of years and have not had that problem yet. I do spawn as many as I
have available and do not match pairs but spawn them in a group. I do use a
clear glass container for the peat in the pawning tank as opposed to a
plastic margarine cup that I use for Nothos. I incubate about 8-10 weeks at
75F. I have no idea what my water parameters are as I haven't measured it in
over 30 years. I breed and raise all my fish in the same water except
Diapterons which I add some rain water. These fish are as identical to fish
I had in the70's as best as I can remember, but then crs set in so far back
I can't remember.
