You can rationalize all you want, but I'm darned if I would raise a fish 
that I was proud of, then send it off to the National, NEVER to see it 
again, AND THEN, Not get anything for it!.  If you want money, then raise 
the "price of the ticket", DON'T steal it from the very members who are 
contributing to the attraction of the event.  Get serious - if you don't 
think the reason many don't enter their prized fish in the National is 
because they lose it (and for free), you haven't really polled your members. 
Sure, some do send them in, but the numbers are down, and those who would 
send them in if they would get them back, WOULD bring the numbers back up.

Shields down, Fire Away, I don't care.  Too many of you just can't see the 
other side!!!!!
