RE: [Killietalk] Preparing slides

I have 2 microscopes with digital camera's one high resolution and 1 low
power, I just think it would be more fun for them to get to play with the
microscopes, I know little kids have difficulty looking through they
eyepiece and they can use the microscope hooked to the computer. I know my
kids are really excited when they bring something into focus and it becomes
real to them. Looking at a picture is not nearly so fun.

I have another DIY solution, you have a camera, take pictures of
the various stages etc.......... then you can make prints for display
laminated, or project them from a laptop, Attachments for microscopes are
not expensive, and some people even use some of the digital scopes sold in
toy stores, I think "digital Blue" is one there are others.

Attached is a very low resolution small image taken through a
microscope .. it does work and people can hold the image instead of trying
to focus a microscope....... Just a thought
