RE: [Killietalk] Re: Fish room

Lorraine,
Boy! you have a very beautiful setup. How many tanks do you have in all?
Are you just going to keep fish, or are you going to raise and sell them?
What's your specialty? I have met and heard of a lot of people who have so
many tanks, but I wonder if they have raised them and sold them so that
they could get some of their money back that they put in. I know that it
is only a hobby, but I think that people who have hobbies should be
productive.
Sincerely,
Bro. Paul

I filled the sump then started the pump, only the water in the pipes will
return to the sump in the event of a power failure, the tank bulkheads are
at the top of the tank, so the tank water will stay put. So just make sure
the sump can take the pipe volume and no floods.

Hi Loraine,

was kind of slow getting to you wonderful fish room. It's sweet...

I do have one question..from what I gather from your plumbing example you
are using gravity feed to the sump and then the pump to bring it back to
the top.. If this flow route is correct then how do you control the water
in the event of a power failure??? what stop gap method are you using to
prevent a flood??? This might be a stupid question but I just can't figure
it out...and maybe you have said it somewhere else...

Thanks
Airwreck
