[Killietalk] White vinegar ok?

I believe that white vinegar has two problems. One; it is too acid 6% or so instead of about 3% which is what a natural fermentation and acidification will produce, and second; it is dead, having been distilled. I use natural cider vinegar, although any live vinegar should work. The eels need something to eat. Normally this is residual yeast and bacteria from a live vinegar culture.
