Show them the letter you previously obtained from an executive of that
airline that carrying fish in luggage is OK. :-) [Wonder if they can
even detect a forgery? :-)]
The luggage examiners usually don't give a damn about fish, for they
work for TSA and not the airlines, anyway. They want your tweezers,
eyelash curlers and fingernail clippers. [If you don't think they are
real bureaucrats, just try joking in their presence.]
Our FedEx offices (and most around the country) absolutely will not
accept live shipments from walk-ins. You need to be a company that has
qualified per their strict (fish-killing) packaging regulations, most
places. Brackish water, leaking into expensive computer boards seems to
make them go non-linear, for some strange reason.
