They were harder to kill than Daphnia and Mosquito Larvae, but Ostracods
were one of the inverts that I found were killed by "Amquel," "Prime,"
or "Ammo Lock 2" so I suppose any of the formaldehyde-like
dechloraminators might work.
Mine were likely a different species, for they were more pinhead size or
a bit bigger.
I'd bet that flubendazole, Fluke Tabs or other anti-helmenthics would do
it, too.
