In my opinion, if it's dropsy there isn't much hope so treat for constipation .. feed the fish a few peas (just the mushy center part) then don't feed it for a few days. Hopefully one day the fish will just suddenly be much thinner. Even if that happens, hold off from feeding for another couple days to let the intestines heal then start smalllll feedings, preferably more peas.
