Re: [Killietalk] Blackworm

If you only have a few fish to feed, 30 redworms may be sufficient, but if you have many pairs of breeders set up and a lot of 10 gal. tanks with many fish of various size and age you will need a lot more than 30 small worms. When I feed my blackworms to my fish I simply dip a plastic baster into the blackworm container and suck out the amount I want and put them into a small plastic cup with water. Then I just go from tank to tank with an eyedropper feeding each tank. Pretty simply and quite fast.

Oh, but the upcoming dwarf red worms that are only a month old are the
right size for the killie fry that are 1/2 inch long. And just think there
are many of them and the cost to raise them is so very small. I feed about
30 worms a day to my killies.

Size. I don't feed either because they are too big for the smaller killies.
I
feed live tubifex, daphnia, Grindal worms, mosquito larvae, newly hatched
brines shrimp, ground up Trout Chow and Omega One FW flakes.
