Re: [Killietalk] Identify worm

Hi Wayne,

I have a green water tank that got a bunch of very thin worms in it. They clump just above the water surface on the glass. When stirred up, they swim by rapid serpentine movement. I would say they might have been as much as 1" long. These worms are slightly orangish in color (most noticeable when they are clumped, otherwise they look white when they are swimming by themselves). I have attached a microscope image of one (hopefully, it goes through). Boy, do they look very different when you magnify them. Not sure what they are but the fish really like them.

Ken

Looks for all the world like the vinegar eels I feed some fry, swims in the same serpentine mositon, but it's 3/4" long.
Thanks,
Wayne
