Re: [Killietalk] USPS
Another option is Airborne, I brought fish from California to Georgia for
25.00 overnight, they were very nice and had no problem with shipping fish.
As to the airline, I use them for shipping dogs more than fish, I used to
bring a lot of fish in via Delta, but have switched to UPS super saver
overnight, Delta is a shadow of what it used to be, the last straw for me
was getting there on time, to be told they didn't have my boxes, when asked
when they MIGHT have them they didn't know, so I suggested they call the
shipping airport, lo and behold my fish WERE in Atlanta, but no one knew
where that might be as they hadn't bothered to scan them in. 3 hours of
frustration later, I finally had my fish, to say I was unhappy with the
service would be an understatement of massive proportions.
I brought four zebra plecos in from a breeder in Ohio using FedEx, he has an
account, cost me 30.00 for overnight freight. So don't let anyone tell you
FedEx isn't accepting live freight<G> they don't take warmblooded animals,
but they certainly do take fish and reptiles!
