[Killietalk] USPS
Hello to all.
I have been shipping fish out of the same post office for about 7 years now.
A few shipments a week. That is why the post office called me and said to
come on over and talk with the public relations officer because she had some
news for me.
The news was they just received a memo that even though they will still
accept live tropical fish DMM CO22.3.2 they will not accept them for express
or priority mail because their transshipper (the airlines and FedEx) will
not accept any live creatures from them.
It was suggested that I go directly to the airlines to ship or to FedEx
(both of which are much more expensive).
GOOD NEWS eggs are not live animals, neither are plants.
I wish I could go to the post office and drop off a box without them knowing
that there are fish in it .... but they know me too well and I will not lie
to them.
