Re: [Killietalk] Feeding Brine Shrimp

Hi all,
The method of raising Brine Shrimp that Ed Warner
wrote about in his book is to increase salinity
(between 1.030 to 1.040) and to feed blenderized
lettuce and yeast. I have not tried this method, but
I did raise adult shrimp a couple years ago when I had
dwarf puffers. I used the SF bay brand shrimpery kit,
and when it seemed like I was getting no babies, I
just left it alone. a few weeks later, I took the top
off and had about 20 or so adults (enough for my
puffers, but I'm sure that's not enough for anyone's
fishroom).
Hope this helps,
Gary
