Re: [Killietalk] Brine Shrimp re-visited, again, again

I use 6 to 9 cans a year of the economy hatch from brine shrimp direct.
I always keep them in the freezer. Every morning and everynight I
take the can out of the freezer. open the lid in my fish room, take out
some cyst and then close the lid and put the can back in the freezer.
i have never had a problem with the hatch rate dropping. I did get a
can once that the BBS would hatch and then die. I started adding a
little bleach to the water with the cyst and the problem went away. I
think the eggs had some sort of bacteria with them. After that can I
have not used the bleach again.
