[Killietalk] re: West Coast killie Clubs

Ray,

Your best bet is the SCKC, which Sandy previously mentioned in this thread. Your drive will be about three hours --Alpaugh is a little under 200 miles away from Seal Beach, where the SCKC meets. Other metropolitan areas with some sort of killifish organization are further away. BAKA is your second closest --also about three hours away in almost the opposite direction. Unfortunately, Phoenix, which Allan mentioned, is over 500 miles away. The bottom line is that you will not be very close to a major killie club, but if you enjoy the contact and camaraderie with other killie enthusiasts, and are willing to drive three hours once a month or every couple of months to a meeting, you have at least two very good choices.

Good luck with the move.

To: killietalk at aka_org

It appears i will be relocating from NY to CA. by this
spring, bringing most of my fishroom equipment.
I will be moving to a small farming community a few hours out of LA,
(Alpaugh, CA, to be exact).
Would anyone from know of any AKA clubs, or perhaps AKA members, less
than a 3 hour drive, or will I be relocating to a killie wasteland?
TIA,
Regards,
