Yes, Yes, Yes. I echo Edd's sentiments that there need be no give aways, but 
there should be help in getting together with other enthusiasts and continued 
publicity thereafter. It takes one really dedicated person (Edd is an example, 
I am another) plus a couple other enthusiasts to get started. It will grow 
over time. I was a co-organizer of the Delaware Valley Killifish Association in 
1970. It grew until it was outmuscled by the Philadelphia Panchax Association 
in the early 1980's which folded soon thereafter. It was reborn as the Pocono 
Killifish Group by Dave Koran and reorganized, after he moved to Cincinnati in 
1985, as the Keystone Killy Group. I have arranged the meeting place and sent 
out the meeting notices for the entire 35 years (except for the one year as 
Philadelphia Panchax Association). I have had help only with a treasurer, since 
I cannot balance a check book. So two people is minimum and then you need 
someone to come to the meetings. The AKA does not need to be involved, but it 
sure could be more help with publicity. As a minimum, the Beginners Committee 
should refer new members to the local affiliate. They did for a while.
