When I brought up the term "black hole" I was not trying to be derisive but 
just suggesting that a lot of hobbyists are not too successful at 
propagating their killifish.   This is sad because all it takes is some 
"bookwork" or investigation before dumping those beautiful critters in your 
tank.   Almost anyone can be successful if they give the fish what they 
want.

I have to admit I have been a little bit of a "black hole" these past few 
months as my production has dropped considerably and I've lost a few 
species.   It's time for me to do my "homework" and pinpoint my problems.
