[Killietalk] Beginner Questions - 'golden wonder killie' at Petsmart

I've had aquariums from 1977, when I was 10, to 1995 , but had to give it up when I moved away from Germany. Now I live in Ohio and last year I have set up a little tank again - 29G. It currently holds 10 neon tetras, 4 hatchet tetras, 6 otocinclus and 10 amano shrimp. It is decorated with a rock background, 2 big pieces of wood, and lots of Java fern and Java moss.

It's a nice tank, but there isn't much happening in there and I think I'd like to get some fish that might breed in there. I was initially thinking about some apistogramma, but tonight I saw some killiefish at my local Petsmart. They were called 'golden wonder killie' and there were 7 of them at $2.99 each.

If I decide to go the killiefish route, should I get those, or would I be better of to order some eggs through the mail? Would killies be a good choice for my tank and purposes? Finally, any further information on 'golden wonder killies' would be helpful.

Many thanks

Frank

PS: My water parameters are: NH3 = 0, NH2 = 0, NH3 = 5, pH = 7.4, GH = 8, Cl2 = 0, temp = 82F. Filtration is via an Eheim 2217 that drives a 6-jet UGJ system. Aeration is via an Aquaclear 301 power head. You can see pictures of my tank here: http://www.cichlid-forum.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=43880&highlight=.
