Paul, hop on back to the FINS search page, and type a few keywords in, I
think the "regulars" and a few others beat that one up pretty good on
several occasions already...any hoo I think the lastest "cure" for the
"nasty tank syndrome" is something called "Gorilla fur" erhh sumthin
like that I "think"...(I doubt if you'll find it in a eastern high
"de-forestation" , too many cheaper ,<or free> "hardwood" subsitutes)
Anyways, I'm gonna make the "switch" to coir or whatever myself
<eventually>, as I've just learned the "Jiffy" type peat really gets
scattered badly as a "direct" spawning media (at least in so far as the
"big boys" are concerned), till then I think I'll go back to the
heavier, coarser "garden peat" and use "Jiffy" pellets more for egg
storage
