[Killietalk] How big before fry can cannibilize each other?
I have been raising my notho fry in a planted tank where it is hard to
count them....and to know whether there's been any cannibalism of the
smaller fry. And while these are not especially rare or precious fish,
for future reference (when I get some neat SAAs, for example), I would
like to know how large do the fry have to get before there is a
likelihood they could eat one of their siblings?
I'd anticipate that when I see the largest fry hit a certain size
(maybe something between 1/2 and 3/4 inch long?), I should start
looking closely to see whether any runts need to be removed to another
tank for their protection.
