Hey, I hear ya, I guess my concern (if any) is that they "will" likely
get that price. Which is not to disparage the workings of free
enterprise, or even feel for the buyer <per se>. I guess the thing is;
at those prices, in combination with the buyers inherent with that
retail channel, I can imagine some "growth inhibitors" w/regard to
"recruitment" into this hobby sector (I don't think I'm all that "off
base" here). 

I'm not saying growth equates to "good" or that "exclusivity" equates to
bad, its just that I'm "feeling" the asymptotes of the "bell curve"
around here is approx 45ish..I suppose hearing: "mommy can I have that
"killifish" a lil more often has got to be good, no? (just looking fwd
into the future)...hey granted we won't see tank loads of Killies
gasping for air at our local "PetSmart" (like we see with the other
"bread & butter" types), but certainly high/inflated prices in the
broader retail channels can't be all that much of a "good" thing (or is
it?)//
