[Killietalk] re: ricefish

I realize that Robert, I had already posted the name given "celebese, ricefish, killifish".  that's how it is listed on the LFS wholesaler's sheet and he was unable to get any extra info.  Every photo I've seen of celebese ricefish look nothing like the ones I have so evidently the common name they are being sold under is wrong.  My main reason for posting was to see if the melastigmus and javanicus were the same fish because the description, pictures and common names are both the same but I'm unable to find anything that says they are the same fish or anything that states the differences between the two.  the only thing I have found is that the javanicus is listed in a few places as the "blue eyed ricefish" and I havn't seen this trait listed for the melastigmus.  Mine definitely have the blue eyes, that's why I'm leaning towards those.  thanks, Kyle
