OK it's a plug I suppose. I have sent so much of the new red dried food to
the States with loads of reorders so it must be a good thing. A lot of those
ordering have asked me about a larger grade & this will be in next week at
last. See my site for details & photo.
I moved some Fp.gardneri Akure from a 2' cube yesterday. These had bright
yellow outer margins to the unpaired fins when I put them in. When I took
them out today they had bright orange margins. I experimented by feeding
this tank only the red food for 3 months. They reminded me of Baissa. I was
trying to get rid of them but set a few brood tanks up as an experiment.
It would be interesting for those trying it in the USA to add to this
thread.
Forget the advert I'm interested in what this food does.
We have experimented in encapsulating vitamins & chemicals in this food as a
paste. A de-wormer drug gets straight to the digestive system.
Alan pointed out to me today that fish were taking too much of it that it
swelled up in their bellies. A pre-soak stops this.
The attractor properties are really strong. In my store room I keep bags in
airtight black bags in cold storage in poly boxes but I can still smell the
food in the room through it.
So many people order this stuff that I am bringing in half a ton of it from
the manufacturer.
