[Killietalk] Unidentified worm... need your knowledge
Well, I found an unidentified worm after collecting some eggs yesterday.
These worms were in the peat with the collected eggs. These worms stretched
out to about an inch or more (for the largest ones I saw), and when they did
so, they were hair thin. If they scrunched up, then they seemed the
thickness of a grindals worm. I have uploaded some microscope photos here:
http://www.pearlscott.com/fish/
Some of them are out of focus (I apologize). Of the photos posted, the ones
labeled with 4D, 41, 45, 50, 62, and 71 seem the best. I included them all
just in case they help somehow.
So my question is this... is it a parasitic worm or nothing to worry about.
TIA,
Mark
