I only boil the yarn once to remove the dyes and additives. After that I 
never switch from one species tank to another without a long time between. Any 
eggs will die or hatch. The only roper book to use is Scheel's Rivulins of the 
Old World. I have seen critters survive peat incubation. Mostly Cyclops but 
sometimes wormlike critters.
