Exactly what I do for a 125 gallon indoor pool, 100 gallon, 55 gallon and 50
gallon tank. All the smaller ones get filled from either a storage drum which
is filled through carbon filters or by an automatic drip system through the
same carbon filters. The fish seem to benefit from a very brief exposure to
chlorine, but certainly are severely damaged by a continued exposure. I f you have
ever seen a fish go in hours from completely healthy looking to one with fins
that are dissolving and slime coat that is sloughing off and breathing is
labored you have witnessed chlorine effects.
