There is a new kit available to the water/wastewater industry that reduces the wastewater from an RO system to almost zero. I've requested information on this kit. - Bob G.

Damping back the RO waste will increase the amount of RO water and increase
its dissolved salts. You would not see this after your mixed bed deionizer
(tapwater purifier). However, unless the membrane is ruptured you cannot get more
RO water than waste water. Your tapwater purifier may be hiding that for a
little while until it is exhausted.
