*Nothobranchius steinforti* has been distributed for the last 20+
years as simply that. No doubt it is many peoples tanks who will never
see Barry's or Ian's declaration of the collection code on Killitalk
or the BKA list. Ian was under the assumption, a while back, that he
was the last person with this fish. I know of at least one commerical
breeder in Thailand who has this fish and distributed them to who
knows simply as *Nothobranchius steinforti* before he lost them this
year. I'm sure many people in other far off places (e.g. Russia, Japan
etc...) are also breeding this fish under the radar.
In ressurecting the old code, 28 yrs later, the only thing that has be
accomplished is to confuse a whole lot of people down the line.
*Nothobranchius steinforti* was working perfectly fine. I am yet to
read one good reason put forward to change from the status quo.
