Firstly, I did not assign the "CI" ("commercial import") code to the
aquarium strain of this species and I never would. Secondly, the "Soga"
location designation to the original import is an ASSUMPTION based on the
supposed locality of some other fish species that were imported into Germany
together with the N. foerschi (or what we now call N. foerschi). Strictly,
speaking, we do not know the exact location of the original collection so
the assigning of "Soga CI 57" is based on assumptions and is therefore
irresponsible on the part of whoever did it.

I do not intend to waste more time commenting on the rest of your message
because we are both entitled to our opinions and I have already stated mine
on this matter. The fish (N. steinforti) will be distributed with the
"Kimamba T 76-4" location designation - if you chose not to use it that is
your prerogative.
