[Killietalk] re: fry wars

I got no clue what most newborn killie fry really look like, usually by
the time I find fry, they are already a respectable size....
I am also new at this and have a string of screw ups to my credit:
moving moss, sand et, and now I'm thinking moving equipment isn't even
safe...
The tank where this fry came from contained A.Spliachen as dithers for
some wild "northern Kribs"(sp unknown). I was asking about it because I
got rid of the splauchen at the Akron auction (anyone get those?). Your
description that spilauchen fry are large now only adds to the mystery;
this fish is free swimming but really small (BTW, I know what "krib" fry
look like, I have some wrigglers now)..anyway, I'm gonna raise this lil
guy "just because"....
Before ya'll stone me, if anyone else has never committed these sins (as
a newbie anyway), feel free to cast the 1st stone (or share your mishap
with us..SMILE)

I agree, but I was not sure what DVDs were wanted - AKA Convention

Britney Spears, ?

Thanks for the info! I apparently saw one of your auctions on Aquabid
before as the mention of angels and discus sounds quite familiar. I
agree that they need lots of aeration to keep them at the densities we
do-if you don't have enough they will sometimes congregate near the
surface or otherwise try to crawl out. I haven't found any of my fish
have a particular skill at catching them, but gammarus are amusing and
steal some of my fish watching time.
