I don't know their lower limit, Lee. However, I have maintained t hem 
outdoors in 20 gal tanks for years on end. In Sarasota most of our winters will fall 
into the 40's for periods with occasional frosts and short periods of temps in 
the uppper 20's. They seem to tolerate this quite well. At least most survive 
and there are not lots of dead fish to be found. As far as algae is 
concerned, these are very effective algae eaters.

JOR is one of the most beautiful native killifish. Good luck
