[Killietalk] catching fry
I've always just caught the fry I can with a siphon and then go through the
peat squirting water into it with the small pipette. The fry dart up and
can be caught.
I also don't see why Dan Katz's method for finding eggs wouldn't work maybe
even better. In doing that you would place the peat w/ eggs in a shoebox
and pour water into it, roiling the peat. After letting the eggs settle out
for a few seconds, pour off the floating debris. If you repeated this a
few times most of the peat and peat dust would be gone before you hatched
the eggs, allowing easier capturing of the fry.
