Subject: [Killietalk] daphnia
I just realized that I don't know what to do with my Daphnia culture
when I go on vacation.
During previous trips, I put the white worms and microworms in the
fridge, and I was planning to do the same with the grindals.
I have them now in open shallow trays on a windowsill, where they are
scarfing baby sweet potatoes and yeast and reproducing very well. I
could leave them there, and have my fish-sitter drop a cube of frozen
sweet potatoes in now and then, or put them in a small tank with a
biowheel, or put them in the fridge.
