That's funny: I got 2 females that got this recently also, ...past
experience with this is "sometimes" a sudden/drastic change (like a temp
drop) can "cause" it to develop(stress ?)...(perhaps not the cause per
se, but...)I'm not sure if dropsy is really a disease or a
symptom...anyway...
WHATEVER you do, do not do this:

I'm not good with the scientific "mumbo jumbo", but basically the salty
water could cause a increase in the fliud imbalance and actually
exaspherate the problem...Actually you could use a salt: Epsom salt,
that is...be aware, use a small pinch (about 1/8 tsp/5gal), and be
warned, it can cause a sudden egg drop...
Eitherway, the prognosis ain't good...
