[Killietalk] N. gunetheri x kortausae

In the later 1970s Bob Skirm, then of Aurora, Illinois
claimed to have crossed them to the 4th generation. He
had photos of each generation and showed them to
several of the Chicago killie people at that time. The
first generation males were striking in that they
showed colors displayed by males of both species. Each
generation was less distinctively marked. The fourth
generation was pretty muddy.

Bob retired and moved to Tennessee. We lost touch. I
fear he has since passed away. It would be very hard
to document what he did unless his notes and photos
could be found through a family member.

Tyrone and others may be aware of others who crossed
those fishes. Hopefully those efforts are better
documented.

All the best!
Scott
