It is my understanding that F-0 signifies that the fish _is wild caught_
and F-1 is first generation, F-2 is second etc.

I cannot see any reason why this should not be applied to killiefish as
well as any other fish. In my estimation you are correct using F-0 for
"wild caught" killies.

This is my 2¢ opinion for what it'd worth :-).  Possibly the "wise man
of the west" aka Wright can give us a ruling on this ...
How's bout it Wright ???
