Today I noticed again two of my male N. korthausae locking lips in a sort of tug-of-war.  I had seen this a time or two before but do not recall reading about it.  Is it common practice?

I have several about 10-12 male N. korthausae in a 30 gallon tank - 2 females in a fry net and one pair in a breeding tank.  These males are excess from my grow out - had lots more males than females.
