[Killietalk] wild idea: marmoratus mix
Hi all
I would like to get your input on a mind fart I had about 10 minutes ago.
I was looking at my pair of marmoratus in their big tank all alone on
my desk and thought to myself: "there sure is a lot of room, I bet the
Rivulus frenatus would do well sharing the tank with them."
Well, the frenatus look very different to the marmoratus so I don't
think there would be any culture clash... and the frenatus eggs are
HUGE compared to the marmoratus so I can still pick eggs and keep the
fry seperated. I also don't think hybridization will be an issue as
the behaviours are so different.
Anyone out there think it may work? Why do you think it won't? I have
an extra male so I can experiment a little...
