Another comment on "easy vs hard" killies

Many of you meet your fellow hobbyist at fish shows. We all have a
species or two that frustrates us and won't give us any eggs AT ALL. You
mention the fish to the folks at your banquet table so that maybe you
can talk about it and pick up the trick with them. Invariably, the first
thing out of some guys mouth is:

"Oh yeah, obfuscocaudothingiatus (don't loose any sleep over that, it's
an imaginary species). They're EASY. I raised a 29 full of them. Musta
been 500 fish."

And we all wonder: Gee, how come nobody else has any? Where did all
those 500 fish go? Why aren't there any of them in the auction this
weekend. Or even one pair entered in the show?

Generally this is the same guy who later tells you about the 47 pound
trout he landed last month.
